Over a hundred exhibitors have already signed up for Multimodal 2019 and a new steering group will formulate next year’s panel and workshop series

London, UK, Wednesday 26th September 2018 – Multimodal 2019 is set to welcome hundreds of leading logistics and supply chain companies from across the UK after a robust line up of exhibitors has been unveiled, hinting at yet another record-breaking show next year.

ONE, Agility, Cosco Shipping Lines (UK) Ltd, CMA CGM Group, Associated British Ports, Samskip, and Jigsaw Transport are just a few of the exhibitors that have so far confirmed their attendance to the free-to-attend event, which takes place at the Birmingham NEC and runs from 18th to 20th June next year.

“Multimodal has grown every year since its inception and today is recognised as the leading logistics and transport show in the UK and Ireland, attracting an unrivalled scope of industry leaders, experts, and supply chain decision makers from all sectors,” said Robert Jervis, Logistics Portfolio Director of Clarion Events.

“The show provides excellent networking opportunities for visitors and exhibitors alike, and our new seminar steering committee will ensure next year’s education programme reflects the latest industry developments, as well as the challenges and opportunities.”

The exhibition and conference, now in its 12th year, has gone from strength-to-strength over the years, and last year welcomed more than 9,000 visitors and over 300 exhibitors.

The new seminar steering group is to be comprised of James Hookham, Deputy Chief Executive, Freight Transport Association; Peter Ward, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), UK Warehousing Association; Robert Keen, Director General, British International Freight Association; Jervis; and Emma Murray, CEO and Founder of Meantime Communications.

The FTA Multimodal Awards night, which recognises the best operators in all transport modes, will make a welcome return: nominations for each of the 11 categories will open in the New Year.

Next year, the leading UK and Ireland logistics event will also benefit from new branding, upgraded digital and traditional content-rich marketing across all platforms, greater exhibitor engagement and an anticipated increase in high-quality visitors.
